Simon Ward is a Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist in England where his specialism is positive behaviour and well-being. For a number of years, Simon has been running a variety of projects to develop the attitudes, skills and experiences which allow individuals and organisations to thrive and lead to success and achievement. As a regular trainer, he has delivered seminars on a range of topics including: motivation and learning, positive behaviour management and solution oriented approaches. Simon is currently a consultant for The Cambridge Learning Journey.

Jane has a long experience of teaching English in pre-school and Primary. She is also a well-travelled teacher trainer and has co-authored a number of courses for Pre-school, Primary and Bilingual Primary science. Most recently she has been part of the team involved in writing Academy Stars, the new Macmillan course for Primary which integrates critical thinking and learning skills into a solid staged approach to language and the four skills.

Karen McGhie is a teacher and teacher trainer, currently working at London School of Languages in San Sebastián. She has been teaching English since 2014 and is a CELTA tutor. Phil Ball works mainly for the Federation of Basque Schools, based in San Sebastián in Spain. He is a CLIL materials writer and teacher-trainer and was closely involved with the award-winning Basque project, ‘Eleanitz’. He has been involved in several European-based CLIL projects, and has written a wide variety of CLIL-based textbooks for the Basque and Spanish socialscience and English language programmes. He co-designed the new ‘CLIL Essentials’ online course for the British Council and works as a consultant for NILE in England.

Antonia Clare is an English language teacher trainer, international conference speaker and award-winning materials writer. Her special interests include the use of video and new technologies in ELT, creativity and the psychology of language learning. She is a member of the Visual Arts Circle and a consultant trainer with NILE. She has taught and trained in many countries around the world, and co-authored bestselling course book titles including Total English and Speakout.

Jeremy has written courses, readers and books about teaching including The Practice of English Language Teaching, and Essential Teacher Knowledge. He has trained (and spoken with) teachers around the world. He is a faculty member on the MATESOL at The New School, New York. Away from ELT, Jeremy is a musician and spoken word performer. With colleague Steve Bingham he has toured the show Touchable Dreams, and is a regular performer in folk clubs in and around Cambridge UK (where he lives). His children’s oratorio, Island, premiered in 2015. Recently, Jeremy has co-written two levels of the series for young adults/adults “Jetstream” for Helbling English.
